I love Pearl Izumi, I have two warm weather jackets that I absolutly love! I bought a size large in this one because that is what my other jackets were. I bought one from a Run, Bike Swim shop so I was able to try it on and they run very tight so I sized up. I am 5' 6" and 140 lbs. very athletic and usually wear a meduim jacket but it was to tight so I got the large and have been in love with it. I bought another from amazon and love it just as much. So when I was looking for a jacket for the cold weather I went to Pearl Izumi again. I am not disappointed at all, but this jacket is a little roomier than the warm weather ones. Maybe so I can wear more underneath for my runs. It is longer in the back for more protection, sleeves are long (yeah!!) I have long arms and it is hard to find a jacket that is long enough, Pearl Izumi delivers again. Fabric is soft and very warm, construction is sturdy, good zipper, should perform well wash after wash like my other ones. Beautiful color, so many compliments from my gym friends and co-runners. Highly recommend and will purchase again.I was looking for a thermal softshell jacket for winter bike riding but couldn't justify the expense (maybe later when I get better!). Instead, I got this to wear with a base layer and windbreaker which I already had in my cold-weather riding arsenal. I'd gone to a bike store to try the different sizes since I'm in between a small and medium for Pearl Izumi wear. It turned out the small fit like a second skin which would have been fine if that was the fit I wanted. Instead, I got the medium which provides room for a base layer. The sleeves are a little long, but better that than too short when you're in a road biking stance. Love the color (the softshell jackets only seem to come in black, white, maybe red)--I wanted a very visible fun color, and this fit the bill.This is a very quality made piece. I like it; however it is also a lot warmer then I thought it would be and I end up taking it off more often then not. The sleeves are quite long and I have long arms, it is form fitted but looks nice on. I like it, and got it for a good price, but now I need to buy a lighter weight one that I can wear when not so cold out.I really like this jacket. First of all, Pearl Izumi makes quality products. I have the thermal pants that go with this jacked and just love them. My only feedback is that the jacket is quite snug, so I would go up a size especially if you are going to layer under. Overall, it kept me very warm during the winter and I am very happy with my purchase.I received this jersey in the mail and it was far more attractive than the picture. It could easily be used as a jacket for layering or as a jersey on its own. It has a nice, soft "fleecy" inside so it is definately meant for colder weather use. Sadly, I ordered an XL and it was too big....my fault as I have lost some weight recently. This jersey would be too long in the torso and arms for a petite person. I alway order a "long" and it would have been just fine for me. I teeter between an XL and a large (usually wear a 10 or 12) and the large would have fit me just fine.This Pearl Izumi jacket is the perfect chilly weather biking jacket. It is form fitting without being tight. I've had it for a year now and it washes great and has kept it's shape and color. You can wear it by itself or when it gets really cold, I layer mine with a cold weather turtleneck and that's all I have to wear on my bike trips. The full zipper make it great to unzip if things warm up on your ride. I wish I had bought another for my daughter because she keeps "borrowing" mine!Exceeds expectation. I wanted this for half m run...tested it and it's great. Fits perfectly. I am size four but32 DD or DDD in chest. (38-39 around chest) hope that helps. It fits great to be worn alone or with thin jersey under.If you need more room than that, suggest a Large. A small would have fit okay but very fitted and possibly too constricting. This one seems just right alone or with the thin jersey as suggested.There is far more side design than to my liking which is a bit more understated. I returned it cause it was too tight/too small and not attractive on my figure. This line requires a slender sleeker body size to pull off the look of this well made and current trend jacket.
